Parkings

Several guarded car parks are located in the airport area of Beirut International Airport. They total 2350 places. For the greater comfort of the users, the car parks benefit from various services, paying or free: toilets, service of valet and cleaning of the vehicle. Airport workers benefit from subscriptions or exemptions. Users who do not wish to pay parking fees can use the free (unguarded) car park located 200 meters from the terminal in the taxi waiting area.

Taxis

Taxis are available 24 hours a day at Beirut Rafic Hariri International Airport. Taxis approved by the airport authorities are parked in front of the Arrivals Hall. A fleet of unauthorized city taxis is available at the exit of the airport after the car parks. Any race must be negotiated with the driver before entering the vehicle. Finally, several TNCs, including UBER, also offer their services to travelers in the city of Beirut and at the airport. Count 15,000 Lebanese pounds for a trip from the airport to the city center with taxis. The rate for the same UBER trip is on average 23,000 pounds ($ 15).

Shuttles and buses

Several public transport minibuses run between the airport and the city center all the time but without a definite schedule. The trip goes to the Dawra roundabout, north-east of Beirut. Travelers wishing to go downtown may ask to stop at the Statue of Martyrs. Those who continue to the Dawra roundabout have the opportunity to find connections to the localities and seaside areas of northern Beirut and northern Lebanon. The usual price of the airport-> Dawra bus connection is 1000 Lebanese pounds. If you are staying at a hotel, ask them if a shuttle is available to guests.
